cancelled wedding during pandemic turns into lasting client/vendor relationship

A + C were one of my first clients who hired me to be their wedding photographer, and they were one of the few that had to cancel their wedding entirely and abruptly at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. In response, they decided to elope, in hope to have a larger wedding at a later date. They were the most thoughtful and considerate of ME to agree not to take any of their monies they paid back (keep in mind, they had paid in full), and use it toward future services together. Since then, I have taken 3 portrait sessions for them! Including their our most recent session together for their beautiful maternity photos, as they are now expecting their first child. My heart is so full watching them get married, buy their first house, and now grow their family; and to be a part of their journey along the way has been so rewarding to witness.
